Founded by U.S. Military Veterans Jacob Torriere and Joseph Torriere, Spire Recovery Solutions, a professional debt collection agency headquartered in Lockport, NY, consistently reaches out to veterans’ organizations across the country to see how they can help the community of service members worldwide.
This month, Spire Recovery Solutions made a donation to Soldiers’ Angels, a support organization that provides aid, comfort, and resources to the military, veterans, and their families through food distributions, physical and mental health support, and dozens of yearly drives to support our troops.
Making A Difference
Deployment can often be an isolating experience. In 2003, Soldiers’ Angels founder Patti Patton-Bader began sending care packages to her son deployed in Iraq. After a few months, Patti’s son had requests from the whole platoon requesting her food and clothing in every drop. She founded Soldiers’ Angels a few months later working with the whole platoon and then eventually with service members across the globe.
After nearly 20 years, Soldiers’ Angels has supported 982,141 soldiers across the globe, handed out more than 40,000 meals to veterans and their families, given over 250,000 items to those in VA hospitals, and provided over 6,400 voice-assisted laptops to those injured during the war.
The Spire Way
Supporting troops, and our greater global community, has been Spire Recovery Solutions’ mission since its inception. We actively support the Naked Warrior Project, FeedMore WNY, Shriners Hospitals for Children, and many more. Most recently, Spire worked closely with the All Secure Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded by a retired Special Operations combat veteran and his wife. All Secure Foundation assists active and veteran Special Operations warriors and their families to identify, understand, heal and successfully recover from post-traumatic stress and its symptoms.
“Jacob and I are incredibly grateful to be able to support our fellow veterans and service members across the globe through so many incredible organizations,” Joseph Torriere, President of Spire Recovery Solutions, says. “We’ve known about the incredible work Soldiers’ Angels has done for our family and friends for years, and we are honored to be able to support their current efforts with food and blanket drives, mental health support, and so much more with just a simple donation.”
